Acupuncture, developed from a philosophy that relates our human being as nature, which is harmonious when it is in balance, so too the human body is healthy when it is balanced. Traditional Chinese medicine explains acupuncture as a technique for balancing the flow of energy or life force — known as "Qi" — believed to flow through pathways (meridians) in our body. The goals of acupuncture are to address the imbalances that causing the pain & illnesses and thus restore harmony in the internal energy of our body. By doing this, acupuncture facilitates the healing of illness, the prevention of further disease, and the maintenance of optimal health.
